After spending 0 on a Belkin ipod fm transmitter, (because I believe I get what I pay for), I have found this transmitter is what I was really looking for. I can comfortabley place my ipod in my cup holder while it is hooked up to this transmitter. I have an hour commute to work and home everyday and was looking for a transmitter that will continuously play no matter how many potholes there are. The Belkin stopped playing almost everytime I hit a bump and sometimes I could not get the music to start again while I was driving. This transmitter keeps my ipod playing no matter how many bumps there are on the road. I also find no difference in the sound quality between the more expensive transmitter and this transmitter. I have only had my transmitter a short time but feel I have gotten more than worth out of it already. So, the lesson I have learned - at least when it comes to ipod fm transmitters - more expensive isn't always best.
